The Project “Youth in One World – Empowerment Programme” has been taken place in Frankfurt (Oder) from 19th till 28th of October. It was a youth exchange that has brought together the youth from Germany, Poland, Romania, UK, Greece, Spain, Jordan, Algeria, Lebanon, Egypt and Tunisia. The youth exchange was focused on addressing challenges the youth meet in their lives in the unstable world with fast transformations and rapid times change. The participants worked together in their empowerment groups on topics of discrimination, gender equality and corruption not only from global point of view but also reflecting on their local situation.
The activities of the project included international debates, interactive presentations, discussions in the empowerment groups, excursion to the educational center as well as city game in Frankfurt/Slubice that brought the participants new knowledge for effective change in their local community. As a result, they have prepared an outreach action to transmit the received knowledge to the inhabitants of Frankfurt/Slubice. After the youth exchanges the groups will implement activities in their own countries which will be part of this project as a sign of understanding the discussed issues.
